The setting of the village is such that the mountain range gives a beautiful outline in the north from this angle. The closest mountain-top is that of Ais Fotis. Here we can also see the co-existence of the mosque and the church. They are reciprocal. I am sure that people of both religions gave greetings to one another on their way to their place of worship and must have had respect also for their neighbours. The picture on the right is of the mountain-top of Ais Fotis but from the other end of the village. |
